SOLUTION
Custom illustrations with a bright colour palette were created for the cover and each chapter divider, showcasing relevant scenes relating to the topics being covered.
A set of pencil-style illustrations were created to showcase relevant equipment and provisions.
A navigation menu and other clickable callouts were added for easy navigation through the guide.
A set of standard icons and colours were used to demarcate different types of content across the guide to improve readability.
Callout boxes, tables and diagrams were used where relevant to draw attention to key information and break up text-heavy sections.
