OBJECTIVES

Refresh the brand identity of the company to give it more personality in a crowded recruitment landscape.

Retain the familiarity of the existing orange brand colour but with a refreshed take.

Ensure consistency across all marketing material.

Drive more job applications and acquire new clients through social media paid campaigns.

Establish SearchElect as a leader in the tech recruitment space.

SOLUTION

The proposed wordmark is indicative of the services provided by SearchElect to take hiring to the next level.

A stair or step shape is subtly indicated in the form of a bar, indicating that SearchElect steadily aids clients through all the steps of recruitment - moving smoothly through the search process, followed by the hiring process.

The primary colour palette consists of the existing orange colour, along with a pair of blues. The dark blue gives a sense of professionalism and expertise, and the light blue keeps the look & feel energetic and approachable.

A new secondary palette was introduced to complement the primary palette. The vibrant tones represent energy and the forward thinking essence of the brand. They give a sense of youth, modernity and friendliness.

The rebrand and new marketing efforts resulted in website traffic doubling and a 23% increase in SearchElect’s LinkedIn following.

Following the success of the rebrand, Studio Giraffe continues to coordinate the overall marketing strategy, art direct all paid and organic social media campaigns which are designed by SearchElect’s digital marketing agency, do all copy editing and assist the agency in developing a monthly content plan; and design any ad-hoc marketing materials required outside of social media.
